All ALINE jewelry is handmade with love in New York City.

What metals do you use for your jewelry?

We use only solid 18K / 14K gold and sterling silver in all our pieces.

What is vitreous enamel?

Vitreous enamel, also called porcelain enamel, is a material created by the labor- intensive process of fusing powdered glass to a substrate by firing it at very high heat (typically 1,380 -1,560 °F). The glass melts, and when cooled, hardens to a smooth and durable coating. The term “vitreous” is used to distinguish it from look-alike substances such as regular enamel or epoxy resin.

How do I care for my ALINE pieces?

Like all fine jewelry, your Aline pieces need a little TLC. Here are some guidelines for optimal care

14K and 18K Yellow Gold
Yellow gold pieces do not tarnish but can be cleaned if needed. To do so, dilute a mild dish soap in a bowl of warm water and soak your piece(s) for three to five minutes. Gently clean using a soft, cotton cloth. Rinse under warm water and gently pat dry (try not to scrub as this can scratch your jewelry).

If your jewelry contains gemstones of any kind, it should be cleaned only with a dry cotton cloth and warm water — skip the diluted dish soap as this could damage the stones.

Sterling Silver
To keep your sterling silver looking new, it will be necessary to clean it to remove inevitable tarnish. Apply a small amount of silver cleaning polish to a soft cloth and gently rub the piece until the tarnish is removed. Rinse under warm water and gently pat dry (try not to scrub as this can scratch your jewelry). Note that abrasive elements like chlorine and bleach will accelerate tarnishing, so avoid these when wearing your sterling silver pieces.

Vitreous Enamel
ALINE pieces that feature vitreous enamel can be washed in warm, soapy water using a soft cloth or soft toothbrush to remove any dirt. Keep in mind that vitreous enamel is technically glass, and although it’s hard-wearing, be sure to handle with care.

Do you offer resizing on pre-made rings?

We’ll always do our best! Resizing capabilities will depend on the style of the ring. Please email hello@alinejewelry.com for more info.

Do you provide jewelry repairs?

ALINE stands behind the quality of our jewelry pieces. But in the rare instance that a repair is needed, please email hello@alinejewelry.com. Be sure to include your name, order number, description of the required repair, and a photo of the damage. If damage is due to a manufacturing defect, we will happily repair your piece free of charge within 120 days of receipt of purchase. The total length of repair will depend on the extent of repairs; please estimate at least 2-3 weeks.

Please note that ALINE only accepts jewelry repairs for pieces purchased on our website. Repairs for ALINE jewelry purchased elsewhere must be handled with the retailer.

We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repairs or exchanges.

What is your return / exchange policy?

We want you to love your ALINE piece. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please email us at hello@alinejewelry.com within 3 business days of receiving your piece. Please note that custom items are not returnable. We do not process returns or exchanges for pieces purchased at retail locations.

What shipping service do you use?

We offer complimentary FedEx 2 Day shipping on all orders or overnight shipping for an additional fee.

All orders are shipped insured and will require a signature upon delivery. Therefore, we’re unable to ship to PO Boxes, UPS or Fedex Retail Locations. ALINE is not responsible for any carrier shipping delays.

Can I expedite my order?

Are you able to ship internationally?

How can I track the status of my order?

When will I get my item?

Most of our ALINE pieces are made to order, however, we do stock some jewelry pieces. For made-to-order pieces, please allow 20 business days for production time in addition to the chosen shipping method. Please email hello@alinejewelry.com for specific questions regarding your order.
